To the naked eye of many there are similarities to last year's cars, but subtle evolution's for many may make huge steps forwards. Nevertheless the main technical focus seems to be the development of the front noses, with a big split between the stepped nose approach widely used in 2012. Take a look for yourself below.
BBC's technical analyst Gary Anderson after the Red Bull's unveiling today, "Overall, I'm not seeing the steps forward I saw on the McLaren, on which everywhere you looked you thought: 'Yep, that's better.' On the Red Bull, that's less so. More of it looks the same."
Has Red Bull's 2012 championship charge right to the last race hindered their 2013 car even beyond Adrian Newey's capabilities?
Only time will tell starting from this Tuesday's first winter test until the first Grand Prix in Melbourne, where the World Champions are in the pecking order, and by what distance.
